The error analysis of structure-preserving exponential wave integrators for the Zakharov system

In this talk, we introduce a new approach and a corresponding new framework for the analysis of Exponential wave integrators (EWIs) which are designed directly for the original ZS rather than for the modified system. By constructing an auxiliary numerical variable, we transform the classical EWIs into an equivalent version that includes the auxiliary variable, and then perform rigorous error analysis on the newly established equivalent schemes. Some numerical experiments are carried out and the results confirm the theoretical results and superiorities of the proposed integrators.
